Swim failure

So Buddy the bichon is supposed to be smaller than Saber. 

 So we tried his life vest on Saber. He had gained so much 

weight she swam right out of it. Don't worry,

she was fine after this event.  We put her on the side 

and she just hung out a bit.  

She even asked to come in later.  We just carried her

 around and forwent the life vest.

Appa Costume being worn

I blurred the child's face so that no one would be bothered. This is

how the Appa Costume came out when worn.  You can't see the 

extra arms, but they are there.

So my mother's dog, Buddy, loves to swim.  He even

has his own life preserver.

Buddy found it the easiest way to get away from Saber

since Saber isn't that big on water.

We found out that Buddy was the biggest/easiest lure

to get Saber in the water.

Just as long as I was holding her.

Appa Costume

Apparently I come up on the internet for Appa costumes for dogs.  Imagine that. :)  Anywho, I have actually gotten a few requests to have one made for "insert person here"'s dog.  So, I was thinking that potentially I could make a few (a very limited number because these are time consuming) for dogs.

Below is a diagram (modeled by Pudge derPoopster) of the dimensions on said dog that I would need.

So they say that although Corgi's are short they should wear size large dog costumes. 

That being said, everyone has given me dog costumes in large...

She is five mos. old today.

I think she has a ways to grow...

Saber's First Bath

Sorry it's a bit long.  I won't feel bad if you skip around a bit.

Since this was filmed, she has had another bath, one she has been a bit more receptive to.

Deep within the corgi jungle...

 The great and powerful Corgisaur stalks her prey.

She spots her quarry, and tries to look coy to not let on that she is stalking... 

 "She's angry! She's angry!" Quick Mom!  Pull me away to safety! My quarry has spotted me!

Maybe I'll have better luck stalking Whoville creatures....

Bath Preview
