Apparently Saber gets a little lazy when it comes to balls.  She'll fetch for a 

little while, but will give up eventually if you throw it too far.

If it is a stick...all bets are off.

The Dog Park

Saber is now 6 mos old and has been successfully going to the dog park off leash.  She is very good off leash and is very submissive towards other dogs.  She just has to learn to leave the dead things alone. Today she rolled on a dead bird bone and tried to run off with a dead chipmunk.  Normally there aren't so many dead things there.  Hubby's luck perhaps?

Long time no blog

Sorry that I haven't blogged in a while.  I've been sick for a good long time and have been trying to conquer it.  I think I'm on the upward side of the horseshoe now.  Here's hoping I will soon stop sounding like I'm honking when I cough.   I have also been preparing/practicing for a test that might have allowed me to get a job if I succeeded at that skill + interview. So I have been doing that and I can now say with confidence that I am gainfully employed!

Also, I have been working on a dog Appa costume mach up and think I finally have a working solution now. I have to admit, I have more experience with people clothing and plush making.  It seems to run closer to plush making of all things.  Go figure.  Either way, expect more pics and blogging and what not for a while.

Mother's Chimes

One of my mother's wind chimes fell down, had pieces break, and had the

enamel fall off.  So she had me repaint it to my taste.  This is what I 

came up with.

We were visiting a relative and their son and Saber played.She was a bit more interested in the son than the daughter.  Either way, good sign for when we have kids.

Buddy tends to have a want/urge to save people from

"drowning" when they are swimming.  The thing is

as we learned from this test. Is that he only saves girls.
